On August 29, 2018, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada and Canada Border Services Agency staff started issuing a new Confirmation of Referral (COR) document to eligible refugee claimants in lieu of a Notice to Appear. The instructions for these interim measures have been updated to explain how to generate the COR from the Global Case Management System, which will be possible following Release 18 (scheduled for October 16, 2018).
