Program delivery update: Manually processing electronic travel authorization applications

The program delivery instructions (PDIs) on manually processing electronic travel authorization (eTA) applications have been updated.
A new subsection has been added, under “Assessing eTA applications”, named “Assessing multiple eTA applications”. This new subsection provides guidance and instructions on how to process multiple eTA applications for an individual client. Scenarios are outlined, and specific guidance is provided for each scenario.
The section on revalidations has been updated to reflect a risk-based approach to the revalidation process and to the potential refusal of a previously approved eTA. Procedural fairness and inactivation scenarios are provided as well.
General updates have also been made to add clarity to various sections of these PDIs.
