Update to the citizenship ceremony planning timeline information
Summary
The generic instructions to verify that the citizenship certificates are correct have been changed to specify when citizenship staff should verify the name and date of birth of the citizenship candidate and that staff should ensure that the effective date of a candidate’s certificate is the actual date of the citizenship ceremony. The explanation of when to notify National Headquarters about a prominent guest attending a citizenship ceremony has been clarified.
