Exemptions to the 12- or 36-month pre-removal risk assessment bar
Summary
Effective February 20, 2015, nationals of Libya are exempt from the 12-month bar if their Immigration and Refugee Board or previous pre-removal risk assessment decision was made between February 20, 2014, and February 19, 2015. Nationals of Libya with a decision after February 19, 2015, are subject to the 12-month bar.
