New instructions on employer-specific work permits with Labour Market Impact Assessment exemptions
Summary
New Regulations will come into effect on February 21, 2015, requiring employers who provide job offers to Labour Market Impact Assessment-exempt foreign nationals to submit the job offers directly to Citizenship and Immigration Canada using the form and electronic system provided, and to pay a new fee. Both of these requirements must be completed prior to the work permit application submission.
