Canadian Experience Class: Assessing against selection criteria
This section contains policy, procedures and guidance used by IRCC staff. It is posted on the department’s website as a courtesy to stakeholders.
Officers will assess the applicant against each of the following eligibility requirements, based on the information and documents provided in the application [R87.1]:
- Temporary resident status
- Official language proficiency
- Qualifying skilled work experience in Canada
- Education requirement - for Post-Graduate stream only.
Note: applicants must intend to reside in a province or territory other than Quebec to be eligible under this class.
