Special Events – Visa Fee-Exempt Special Events: January and February 2011
Issue
The purpose of this Operational Bulletin (OB) is to provide information on the fee-exempt events taking place in January and February 2011.
Background
As you know, in accordance with Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations, some delegates attending special events in Canada are entitled to receive a fee-exempt visa. Following is a list of fee-exempt events taking place in January and February 2011.
Special events taking place in January 2011:

Note: Fee exemptions apply to single entry TRVs only. If applicants are requesting a multiple entry TRV, then they must pay the processing fee for same.
We strongly encourage you to insert the appropriate code in CAIPS/FOSS. This will allow us to track immigration statistics in relation to events.
