Ministerial Instructions (MI64): Parents and Grandparents

New Ministerial Instructions for the 2023 calendar year replace the previous Ministerial Instructions that came into effect on January 1, 2023 (MI54). These instructions provide authority to accept into processing up to 16,000 applications in the 2023 calendar year. This 16,000 application number includes the remaining applications to be accepted into processing that were a part of the 2022 intake as well as new applications to be accepted into processing that are a part of the 2023 intake.
