I am happy to be a regular contributor to a number of Health Canada consultations.

Through my 27 years of lived experience with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis, I've learned that there are a lot of players involved in providing my care.

We're lucky to be in a place like Canada where governments are getting more and more open and transparent in how they operate and I, as an individual citizen have the opportunity to have my say. I see this as democracy in action and even though I don't expect that every policy will be changed as I want it, it's crucial that people like me can contribute to solutions and not just stand idly by and wait for things to happen.
