Online calculator: Limits for public possession of cannabis
The law says an adult may possess up to 30 grams of dried cannabis, or its equivalent, in public for non-medical purposes. 1 gram of dried cannabis is equivalent to:
- 5 grams of fresh cannabis
- 15 grams of cannabis solids at room temperature that have a concentration of up to 3% of THC
- examples: baked goods, topical soap
- 70 grams of cannabis non-solids at room temperature that have a concentration of up to 3% of THC and that are not beverages
- example: topical spray lotions
- 0.25 grams of cannabis concentrates that have a concentration of more than 3% of THC
- examples: vaping liquids, hash
- 570 grams of cannabis beverages that have a concentration of 3% or less of THC
- 1 cannabis plant seed
