Canadian Animal Feed and Health Products Engagement Committee (CAFHPEC)
The Canadian Animal Feed and Health Products Engagement Committee (CAFHPEC) provides the Health Products and Food Branch, in addition to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) with stakeholder input into the Canadian regulatory system for animal health products (veterinary biologics, veterinary drugs) and animal feed, from the perspective of regulated parties and stakeholders who are directly or indirectly impacted by the regulatory system.

The Advisory Committee on Animal Uses of Antimicrobials and Impact on Resistance and Human Health was formed to provide advice and assistance to the Director General, Veterinary Drugs Directorate, in the development of policy options related to the animal uses of antimicrobial agents.
