The Prescription Drug List is a list of medicinal ingredients and classes of medical ingredients that, when found in a medication, require a prescription.
The list has 2 parts:
- the list for human use
- the list for veterinary use
A medicinal ingredient is not listed on the Prescription Drug List if it’s listed in the Schedules of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
