Importing pest control products
All pesticides imported into Canada must meet Canadian standards, in other words, be regulated under the Pest Control Products Act (PCPA), and bear the Canadian label. Before products are approved for the Grower Requested Own Use (GROU) program they are evaluated by scientists to identify if any chemical differences may lead to increased health or environmental risks.
