Recreational water activities

Have fun, tow safe

Tubing, water skiing and wakeboarding are all fun ways to spend a hot and sunny afternoon. Follow our basic tips to ensure these summer days stay safe:

  • Always have a spotter in the boat when you are towing someone. They are there to communicate to the driver if the people behind the boat fall into the water and need to be retrieved. They can also communicate if the person being towed would like to slow down.
  • Never tow anyone behind your boat when visibility is poor at night.
  • Make sure the person being towed always wears a lifejacket.
