Engaging on cannabis legalization and regulation in Canada: Taking stock of progress

In support of the legislative review of the Cannabis Act, Health Canada sought feedback from the public on their views about the impacts of the Cannabis Act, and sought the public's perspective on the engagement paper, Taking stock of progress: Cannabis legalization and regulation in Canada.

Who was the focus of this engagement
Health Canada sought input from various groups across Canada, including:
- the general public
- provincial, territorial, and municipal governments
- the public health community
- cannabis industry or licence holders
- academic and research institutions
- cannabis consumers
- marginalized and racialized people
- people who access cannabis for medical purposes
- youth
- public safety and law enforcement
- non-government organizations
