Health Canada sought stakeholder feedback on the proposed Canadian Access, Watch, Reserve (CAN-AWaRe) classification of antimicrobial drugs for human use.

We will consider all comments received before finalizing the CAN-AWaRe classification.

Key questions for discussion

We sought feedback on the proposed CAN-AWaRe classification, asking respondents whether they agreed with Health Canada’s classifications or to suggest alternatives with rationale and supporting evidence. The input that was gathered through this process will be used to finalize the classification.
