The Notice of Intent in the Canada Gazette, Part I provided interested stakeholders with the opportunity to comment on Health Canada's fee proposal for biocides products.
Who was the focus of this consultation
Health Canada engaged with Canadians, including:
- Stakeholders in the biocides industry, including those in the disinfectant and sanitizer sectors
- Consumers
- Other interested members of the public
Key issues discussed
The Notice of Intent touched on the following issues under the proposed Biocides Regulations:
- Proposed fees for biocides product applications
- Performance standards for biocides product applications
The input gathered through this process will be used to inform the final fee structure for biocides.
