Analytical testing service: Free Fatty Acids

Description of service

Free fatty acid content is provided and expressed as a percentage of weight of oleic acid in the extracted oil using method of Ke et al., Analytica Chimica Acta 99:387-391 (1978).

It takes 2 days to complete this test.

Fees shown are before tax. The applicable taxes (Goods and Services Tax and provincial sales tax in Quebec) will be collected on these fees.

Service standard

• Documents detailing the results of inspection support services are issued within 2 business days after completion of all required analytical testing or inspection results.

Performance target

• The target for achieving this standard is set at 90%.
