ISSUE: Banks and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs)
- FCAC is aware of concerns related to the use of non-disclosure agreements, particularly in investment services.
- Non-disclosure agreements were not an issue that surfaced in FCAC’s review of bank complaint handling procedures in 2020.
- Additionally, non-disclosure agreements have not been the subject of consumer enquiries or complaints received by FCAC.
