Doris Hausleitner graduated from the University of Idaho with an M.Sc. in Fish and Wildlife Resources. Her Graduate research was on the population dynamics and habitat use of Greater Sage-Grouse in northwest Colorado. Since then, she has specialized in ornithology, concentrating her research efforts on threatened and endangered species. Currently she is operating Seepanee Ecological Consulting from Nelson, British Columbia.
