• Immediately flush eyes with flowing water, occasionally lifting the upper and lower lids.
• Flush eyes for at least 15 minutes.
• If exposed person wears contact lenses, remove them 5 minutes after rinsing and then continue rinsing for at least 10 min. Workers should not wear contact lenses

• Use boric acid solution and cortisone ophthalmic drops.^Footnote1
• Call an industrial physician or poison control centre immediately for subsequent advice (have product label at hand).
• Get medical attention.

• Flush contaminated area immediately with flowing water.
• Subsequently remove contaminated clothing.
• Continue to flush contaminated skin for at least 15 minutes.

• Call an industrial physician or poison control centre immediately for subsequent advice (have product label at hand).
• Get prompt medical attention if the skin becomes inflamed (redness, itchiness or pain).

• Immediately remove the exposed person to fresh air.
• If breathing has stopped:
  • Call emergency services (ex. 911)
  • Apply artificial respiration with barrier device

• Keep the affected person warm and quiet.
• Get immediate medical attention (have product label at hand).

• Promptly have the exposed person drink a large quantity of milk, egg whites, gelatin solution or water if the aforementioned are unavailable.
• Never give liquids to an unconscious person.

• Call an industrial physician or poison control centre immediately for subsequent advice (Stomach pumping by medical personnel is desirable) (have product label at hand).
• Do not induce vomiting.

Chronic symptoms

• nervous system
• ulceration of the skin or mucous membrane
• abdominal pains
• other persistent symptoms of illness
