Under the Federal Contaminated Sites Action Plan (FCSAP), ecological risk assessments (ERAs) are commonly used to manage federal contaminated sites. FCSAP has developed guidance for ERAs in addition to the ones from the Canadian Council of Minister’s of the Environment. This document is a technical guidance module on toxicity testing, which provides nationally consistent advice on how to select and interpret toxicity tests as part of an ERA.
