Module 7: default wildlife toxicity reference values recommended for federal contaminated sites
Under the Federal Contaminated Sites Action Plan (FCSAP), ecological risk assessments (ERAs) are commonly used to manage federal contaminated sites. FCSAP has developed guidance for ERAs in addition to the ones from the Canadian Council of Minister’s of the Environment (CCME). This FCSAP guidance recommends default wildlife (birds and mammals) toxicity reference values (TRVs) for ERAs.
