Greenhouse gas and air pollutant emissions projections: 2018

From Environment and Climate Change Canada

We publish Canada’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions projections each year. This report shows the progress Canada expects to make towards its target. It presents our GHG emissions projections under a few scenarios.

This year, for the first time, we include air pollutant projections. The air pollutant projections reflect our action to reduce air pollution. Air pollutants affect both the environment and human health. The health impacts include a higher risk of stroke, heart disease, respiratory disease and some cancers.
