Next Steps

Comments on this Consultation Document are due by November 14, 2009. Contact information for the submission of comments is provided in section 1 of this document. All comments and information on potential exemption requests received during the comment period will be taken into consideration while drafting the proposed regulation.

It is anticipated that the proposed regulations will be published in the Canada Gazette, Part I, in August 2010 followed by a 60-day public comment period.

It is anticipated that the final regulations will be published in the Canada Gazette, Part II, in winter 2012.
