Canada Pavilion at the Conference of the Parties (COP)
The Canada Pavilion at the United Nations Conference of the Parties (COP) is a key space to show Canadian climate leadership and innovation. It brings together governments, Indigenous representatives, civil society, businesses, labour groups, and youth.
The pavilion supports collaboration on climate change, pollution, and biodiversity loss. It promotes action and new partnerships to solve the most pressing global environmental challenges of our time.
Our goal
Hosting a pavilion during COP gives Canada the opportunity to:
- Show its commitment to climate action and low-carbon economic growth
- Highlight Canadian innovation in clean technology, renewable energy, and digital transition
- Feature partnerships that help direct more money toward climate and environmental goals
- Promote solutions that address climate change, protect nature, and reduce plastic pollution
- Support Indigenous climate leadership as essential for a healthy environment and a sustainable future
- Emphasize its commitment to democracy and human rights as key to creating opportunities for all

Canada Pavilion at COP31
Join us at the Canada Pavilion at COP31, taking place in Antalya, Türkiye, from November 9-20, 2026. Through an engaging program, the Pavilion will highlight Canada's leadership in addressing interconnected global challenges, including climate change, biodiversity loss, and plastic pollution, while driving ambition, implementation, and collaboration.
The application period for events to be included in the Canada Pavilion at COP31 program is now closed.
Environment and Climate Change Canada is currently reviewing applications. Applicants will be informed of the results of the selection process once evaluations have been finalized. The Canada Pavilion program schedule will be published in due course.

Canada Pavilion at COP30
Canada hosted its national pavilion at COP30 for the fourth consecutive year, showcasing Canadian climate leadership and innovation. Canada's pavilion served as a hub for governments, Indigenous Peoples, civil society, and industry to share perspectives, build partnerships, and advance Canada's climate agenda.
Over 10 days, Canada's pavilion featured 59 events on various topics including clean technology, energy, nature-based solutions, and Indigenous-led climate initiatives, creating a stimulating space for networking and collaboration.
Canada Pavilion at COP29
Canada hosted a pavilion at the United Nations Climate Change Conference. It highlighted a whole-of-Canada approach to climate action and also served as a hub for networking and engagement.
Events followed the thematic days set by the Azerbaijan Presidency. This allowed Canada to showcase its perspectives and leadership on climate action and collaboration. Indigenous voices, gender equality, and youth empowerment were included throughout all programming.
Canada Pavilion at COP28
The Canada Pavilion at COP28 highlighted Canada’s wide range of climate leadership and innovation. It showed how people from all parts of society are working together and making strong commitments.
Events followed the United Arab Emirates Presidency’s thematic days and focused on key areas for climate action and collaboration. It featured an Indigenous Climate Leadership Day and included diverse voices throughout.
Canada Pavilion at COP15
This Canada Pavilion hosted over 70 events at COP15. It provided an opportunity for partners and stakeholders to showcase Canadian efforts and leadership on biodiversity conservation. It also amplified the voices of underrepresented groups, particularly Indigenous peoples, women, and youth.
The pavilion helped drive ambitious results for the Kunming-Montréal Global Biodiversity Framework and set the stage for its implementation after COP15.
