Share your ideas: Environmental recovery from ship-source marine oil spills

As part of the Oceans Protection Plan, Canada is strengthening how it manages marine oil spills. Recovery is an important part of this work. Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) is leading the development of a framework to help guide recovery efforts when dealing with oil spills from ships.

ECCC wants to hear from Canadians on our discussion paper until December 23, 2026. The input received will help develop the framework.
