Part Four: Cooperation and Provision of Information

Article 20: Cooperation This article establishes that the Parties shall at all times agree on the interpretation of the Agreement and to cooperate and consult on any matter that might affect its operation. Party's shall promptly respond to requests from the other Party for information and notify one another and provide any credible information regarding violations of the other Party's environmental law.

Article 21: Provision of Information This article calls on Parties to promptly respond to requests for information from the Council, a National Secretariat, or the Joint Submission Committee. If a Party feels the request is excessive it shall notify the Council which may revise the scope of the request. A Party shall promptly, and in writing, notify a National Secretariat or the Joint Submission Committee if it will not make requested information available.
