Concerns

• Are you exposed to any ultrafine particles similar to welding fumes or carbon black at your workplace?
• Have you experienced any adverse respiratory symptoms, e.g., coughing or breathing difficulties?
• Have you observed among your colleagues at work elevated rates of serious respiratory diseases?
• Do you worry that any exposure to ultrafine particles in your workplace can make you ill?

Action to take

If you answered “Yes” to one or more of these questions, raise the issue with your supervisor and refer to the Internal complaint resolution process.
