Canada Service Corps – Service Placements Regional Stream

Who can apply: Eligible organizations can apply for up to $3,000,000 per fiscal year for projects that offer volunteer service placements for youth.
What this program offers: Canada Service Corps (CSC) is a contributions program which provides funding to National and Regional organizations to recruit youth volunteers and help improve the social, economic, and environmental well-being of communities through local action. CSC Service Placements Regional Stream aims to fund youth-serving organizations with a local or regional reach to develop and deliver flexible volunteer service placements for youth participants, including youth from Indigenous populations, under-served populations, or both. CSC also provides funding to organizations with a national reach under the Service Placements National Stream, and to organizations that support youth-led projects under the Micro-grants Stream.
Information sessions
We’ll hold information sessions to give an overview of this application process. You can take part online or by teleconference. The sessions will be accessible and include:
- American Sign Language (ASL)
- Langue des signes québécoise (LSQ), and
- Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART)
The information sessions will cover the Micro-grants, Service Placements National and Service Placements Regional streams and will take place on the following dates:
- October 24, 2023 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, Eastern Time (French and LSQ)
- October 24, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, Eastern Time (English and ALS)
- October 25, 2023 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, Eastern Time (French and LSQ)
- October 25 2023 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, Eastern Time (English and ALS)
- November 21, 2023 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, Eastern Time (French and LSQ)
- November 21, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, Eastern Time (English and ALS)
- November 22, 2023 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, Eastern Time (French and LSQ)
- November 22, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, Eastern Time (English and ALS)
You can register to take part online or by teleconference by sending an email to NC-DGOP-POB-CSC-SJC-GD@servicecanada.gc.ca. In your email, please specify the following information for each session you’d like to attend:
- the date
- your preferred language (English or French)
- any accessibility requirements
Please send us your request by 12:00 pm (noon), Eastern Time, on the day before the session(s) you wish to attend. We’ll then send you the instructions on how to join.
