Privacy Notice Statement – Registration for a Service Canada outreach activity by Service Canada or the host organization

The collection and use of your personal information is authorized under the Department of Employment and Social Development Act and other applicable laws. The information you provide will be used by Service Canada or the organization hosting the activity to contact you by phone call and/or by email if you registered for an event. Registration for this Service Canada outreach activity is voluntary. Not providing information will result in Service Canada being unable to register you for the activity and unable to contact you should the activity be modified, rescheduled, or cancelled.

The information you provide may be used and/or disclosed for policy analysis, research and/or evaluation purposes. However, these additional uses and/or disclosures of your personal information will never result in an administrative decision being made about benefits you may be entitled to.

The information you provide is administered in accordance with the Department of Employment and Social Development Act, Privacy Act, and other applicable laws. Service Canada offers a mask-friendly environment. Clients should feel comfortable to wear a mask during Service Canada outreach events.

Don't attend if you:

• are experiencing any symptoms associated with COVID-19 (even if mild)
• have tested positive on a PCR or rapid test, been presumed positive for COVID-19 in the past 5 days
• have been instructed by public health authorities or a health care provider to quarantine or isolate for any reason

Limit the use of scented products

Service Canada promotes a scent reduced work environment and encourages the limited use of scented products at Service Canada outreach events.
