Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) is exploring ways to support social purpose organizations in building their capacity to innovate and move towards participation in social finance opportunities.
The focus of this engagement process is the Investment and Readiness (IR) Stream, which will offer time limited support over a 2-year period for social purpose organizations to improve their ability to scale promising practices and work towards participation in the social finance market. To better inform the design and delivery of the IR Stream, we have launched an online engagement process to:
- hear about the ways delivery partners can support your organization and your work in innovation and investment readiness
- validate the supports required to participate in the social finance market
- raise awareness of existing tools and approaches, and
- surface ideas that have not yet been identified
