Starting Strong VIII: Reducing Inequalities by Investing in Early Childhood Education and Care
On January 29, 2025, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) published the eighth volume of its Starting Strong series, Reducing Inequalities by Investing in Early Childhood Education and Care (2025). The Starting Strong series offers international information on early childhood education and care (ECEC) to help countries improve policies and deliver high-quality ECEC services. This report outlines existing inequalities in ECEC and proposes ways to make ECEC more equitable and inclusive.
