Jennifer Cowan, Director of Enterprise Accessibility, Scotiabank

Jennifer has been working in the field of accessibility for over 15 years with experience in both the public and private sectors.

Prior to joining Scotiabank in 2020, Jennifer led many municipal projects to improve the accessibility of public spaces.

Armed with a wealth of knowledge and practical insights, Jennifer brings a unique perspective as she understands the complete customer journey – from travelling throughout a community, to being able to access essential services – whether those are offered in the public or private sector.

Over the years Jennifer has been invited to participate in Provincial Standards Development Committees, as part of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act reviews, consistently demonstrating her commitment to accessibility and driving positive change.
