Training and assistance operations with partner forces

The Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) has regularly aided other countries when called upon to help them protect their autonomy and their people. One of the ways that the CAF helps other nations is through military training. The CAF also helps them improve their military equipment and technical gear. This support is often part of a larger government assistance program.
The Canadian Joint Operations Command (CJOC) tasks and directs most CAF operations in Canada, as well as in other countries. CAF operations that provide military training and assistance are:
- Operation AMARNA in the Middle East
- Operation IMPACT in Iraq
- Operation UNIFIER in Ukraine
- Operation PROTEUS in Israel
- Operation NABERIUS in Niger
