Simplified Logic Model for Community Training Outcomes

Inputs: What we provide to the program	Program Training Guidance and Doctrine CRs, volunteers and senior JCRs to lead the program Community support Guidance and support from CRPG staff Uniforms and equipment for JCRs Support from CA and CJCR
Activities: What we do in the program	Regular training nights and community involvement Balance of Life, Ranger, and Traditional Skills, plus PHASE FTX (at least two per year) ETS opportunities
Outputs: What we want youth to gain from	Accomplish tasks and overcome challenges as a team member Successfully use their skills and knowledge out on the land Have positive experiences related to community service Learn skills for leadership and decision-making Be exposed to new experiences and meet new people
Outcomes: What we want the positive impact of the program to be for youth	JCRs feel a sense of accomplishment and belonging Improved interpersonal skills, self-esteem and mental health Confident to take a leadership role & make informed decisions Competent and safe when out on the land JCRs can form healthy relationships that help them transition successfully to adulthood JCRs contribute to their communities, and communities become stronger as a result

Skills, knowledge and
attitudes of individual JCRs visibly improve over time
JCRs become more active in their communities, beyond what they do in the program
Patrol members express

The behaviour of JCRs
reflects a positive view of themselves, and feelings of confidence and self-worth
