Junior Canadian Rangers Patrol Volunteer Agreement

Part 1: Volunteer

I, (First Name and Surname) ____________________________, understand that while volunteering with the (Name of JCR Patrol) ____________________________ JCR Patrol, for the dates of (Date - yyyy-mm-dd) _________________ to (Date - yyyy-mm-dd) _________________:

• I will act honestly and without malice, exercise due caution and take reasonable care of any Crown property entrusted to me.
• I acknowledge and agree that I am responsible for any liability resulting directly from my negligence.
• I confirm that I am participating freely and of my own accord in the activities of the JCR Patrol without compensation or any other thing of value in lieu of compensation. However, I may be eligible for reimbursement for expenses incurred in accordance with Cadets and Junior Canadian Rangers Group Order (CJCR Gp O) 10061, Program Finance.
• I acknowledge and agree that this is not an employment agreement.
• I acknowledge and agree that, prior to being placed in a position of trust, I am required to successfully complete screening in accordance with CJCR Gp O 10031, JCR Personnel Screening.
• I agree that I will immediately notify the Canadian Rangers Patrol Group (CRPG) if, after signing this agreement, I am arrested or charged with a criminal offence.
• I confirm that I am fully capable to execute the volunteer activities described below:

Part 2: Patrol Leader
