Cancellation and replacement of CATO 52-08 - Air Force Association of Canada Medal

1. The Air Force Association of Canada (AFAC) Medal continues to recognize outstanding cadets participating in national flying training.
2. To align with current delivery of the Glider Pilot Training Course (GPTC) and Power Pilot Training Course (PPTC), the Cadets and Junior Canadian Rangers Group (CJCR Gp) has updated the criteria and administration for this medal.
3. Accordingly, CATO 52-08, Air Force Association of Canada Medal at reference B, is cancelled effective immediately.
4. Further direction pertaining to the AFAC medal criteria and administration will be promulgated by separate communication.
5. Questions concerning the cancellation of CATO 52-08, Air Force Association of Canada Medal or changes to the AFAC medal may be forwarded to your respective Regional Cadet Support Unit (RCSU) Honours & Recognition (H&R) Coordinator.
