1. The development of a culture of recognition within the Cadets and Junior Canadian Rangers Group (CJCR Gp) is crucial in achieving our mandate to develop confident and self-sufficient community leaders. The Honours and Recognition (H&R) program helps increase morale, engagement, and wellness of our personnel, volunteers and youth, and is a vital part of the continued success of the Canadian Cadet Organizations.
2. Recently two resources have been created to support the H&R Program: a CJCR Gp H&R Manual and an H&R Cadet365 SharePoint page. The CJCR Gp H&R Manual provides information on H&R opportunities, assists members in submitting nominations, and outlines the fair and transparent H&R selection process. The H&R Cadet365 SharePoint page includes sample narratives and citations, tips and tricks, H&R news, and additional resources.
