1. The Cadets and Junior Canadian Rangers Group (CJCR Gp) coordinates numerous Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) engagement opportunities throughout the training year which are available to all participants in the Cadet Program. To allow for full participation in CAF engagement opportunities by all cadets in attendance, restrictions currently found in reference A, Annex A, Use of C7/8 Within the CCO will be amended to permit Sea, Army and Air cadets to fire the C7/8 rifle during cadet summer training activities, should the opportunity be provided.
2. Statements within reference A, Annex A, Use of C7/8 Within the CCO which restrict the firing of C7/8 by Sea and Air cadets are amended effective immediately as follows:
   1. para. 6, replace with “C7/8 firing is authorized as part of the approved cadet summer training program”; and
   2. para. 11, replace with “C7/8 firing is authorized as part of the approved cadet summer training program”.
