Decommissioning of the Cadets and Junior Canadian Rangers Group Mobile Application

1. With the large-scale deployment of the Cadets and Junior Canadian Rangers Group (CJCR Gp) Microsoft 365 tenant (Cadet365) to CJCR Gp personnel, cadets, and volunteers, and significant improvements to the CJCR Gp presence on Canada.ca, the Cadets and Junior Canadian Rangers Mobile Application (CJCR App) is no longer required and will be decommissioned. As a result of the decommissioning of the CJCR App, CANCDTGEN 021/20, Launch of the Cadet and Junior Canadian Rangers Mobile Application will be cancelled effective immediately.
2. CJCR Gp will continue to focus its internal communication efforts within Cadet365, maximizing use of the Microsoft Teams and SharePoint applications, while communications with parents/guardians and the Canadian public will be solidified on Canada.ca and via social media.
3. All resources previously available in the CJCR App are currently available on www.Canada.ca, Cadets Canada social media sites, or within Cadet365 (You are now leaving Canada.ca. Link accessible only on the Cadet365 SharePoint). Key Resources are:
   1. Canada.ca - Cadets and Junior Canadian Rangers Group Policies and Guidance;
   2. Canada.ca - Cadets Canada Leadership;
   3. Cadet365 - Cadet Training Documents (You are now leaving Canada.ca. Link accessible only on the Cadet365 SharePoint);
   4. Cadet365 - Wellbeing resources for cadets and staff (You are now leaving Canada.ca. Link accessible only on the Cadet365 SharePoint);
   5. Facebook - Cadets Canada official Facebook Page (You are now leaving Canada.ca); and
   6. YouTube - Cadets Canada YouTube Channel (You are now leaving Canada.ca).
