CANCDTGEN 023/20 National Cadet and Junior Canadian Rangers Support Group Order (Natl CJCR Sp Gp O) 5520-1 - Cadet Organizations and Administration Training Service (COATS) Succession Planning

1. The Group Order 5520-1 – COATS Succession Planning is issued under the authority of the Comd Natl CJCR Sp Gp and takes effect immediately.
2. This Sp Gp O removes all references to “internal transfer” which is not to be used again. The succession planning process will be used to achieve the same. As such, effective immediately, the following are rescinded:
   1. Canadian Cadet General Orders (CANCDTGEN) 015/18, para 3 and Section II (paras 9-13);
   2. Cadet Administrative and Training Orders (CATOs) 23-10, Annex C, paras 20-21.
3. Regional Cadet Support Unit Commanding Officers are requested to ensure maximum distribution of this Gp Order to their members, to include promotion of the document through social media and newsletters.
