Non-Commissioned Member Leadership College
The Osside Institute has now become the Non-Commissioned Member Leadership College
On October 8, 2025, at the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) Chief Warrant Officer (CWO) Conference, General Carignan, Chief of the Defence Staff, and CWO McCann, CAF CWO, signed the charter formalizing the independence of the Osside Institute, now recognized as the Non-Commissioned Member Leadership College (NCMLC).
The vision of the NCMLC is to be the centre of expertise in professional military education for senior non-commissioned members in the CAF, our allies and partners.
Our mission is to provide the skills and knowledge needed in order to set a positive example of leadership focused on promoting the highest standards of the profession of arms.
