Join the conversation: Participate in the Federal Public Service Values and Ethics Symposium

October 08, 2024 - Defence Stories

All Defence Team members are encouraged to participate in What Unites Us, Defines Us: Values and Ethics in Today’s Federal Public Service. This two-day event will take place on October 15 and 16, 2024 from 11:00AM to 3:30 PM (ET).

Hosted by the Clerk of the Privy Council, this event will continue the renewed dialogue on values and ethics in the federal public service. The symposium will explore the fundamental role of public servants; lessons learned through the renewed conversation on values and ethics; and what we need to do to bring those values to life now and for the future.

Did you know?

The Values and Ethics Code for the Public Sector is the overarching code that outlines the values and expected behaviours that guide federal public servants in all activities related to their professional duties. Each department also has its own organizational code that outlines expected behaviours specific to its mandate and work environment. At Defence, we are guided by the DND and Canadian Forces Code of Ethics and Values and the Canadian Armed Forces Ethos: Trusted to Serve. To learn more, visit Defence ethics - Canada.ca.
