Best Practices Forum on Official Languages

Join us for the Best Practices Forum on Official Languages (Forum), an exciting official languages event taking place from February 5 to 9, 2024.

This annual event, open to all public servants, is organized by Canadian Heritage, the Council of the Network of Official Languages Champions and the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat. The Forum aims to facilitate the exchange of best practices between federal institutions and the exploration of common approaches in official languages.

The week of the Forum will feature several virtual activities, along with an in-person panel discussion with senior public servants that will also be available for viewing through a Webcast. The panel discussion entitled Spotlight on the modernized Official Languages Act, will be on February 6 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (EST). This event will give participants a better understanding of how the Act has been strengthened and what we can do to meet our new obligations.
