The DLC has a wide range of learning and professional development activities for civilian employees and military managers or supervisors of civilian employees.

It is a great resource when creating 2023-2024 learning and development plans, or when looking to address a specific learning need in your organization

Summary of changes to the spring 2023 edition

• The following items have been added to the Mandatory Training List (Chapter 1):
  • A new section for Labour Relations sub-delegation
  • A new course titled “Inclusive Hiring Practices for a Diverse Workforce (COR120)” required to obtain staffing sub-delegation
• The following mandatory functional specialist courses have been added (Chapter 2):
  • Key Concepts in Financial Management (COR216)
  • Applying Key Concepts in Financial Management (COR210)
  • Introduction to Materiel Management (COR419)
  • Overview of Real Property Management (COR411)
  • Procurement Fundamentals (COR401)
  • The Procurement Process (COR402)
  • Overview of Materiel Management (COR418)
