Managers: Submit your holiday actings now

With the holiday season fast approaching, employees will start submitting their leave requests. Once you approve the leave, you must immediately submit any short term acting covering those leave periods. Submitting the acting at least 20 working days before the start date, will help ensure the acting employee is paid in a timely manner.  To submit a short term acting request, use the Manager Self-Service HR Request in GC HRMS 8.9 (accessible only on the National Defence network).

Note - Please remember employees must perform the full range of duties during the acting period to receive acting pay.  Follow these best practices (accessible only on the National Defence network) and the Manager’s Guide to Supporting Positive Pay Outcomes (accessible only on the National Defence network).
