pay and benefits

Public Services and Procurement Canada would like to inform section 34 managers and employees that the Processing an employee’s rehabilitation in the Phoenix pay system for Employees and Section 34 managers [PDF-633KB] (accessible only on the National Defence network) job aid is now available on GCpedia (accessible only on the National Defence network).

This job aid identifies the key steps that an employee and section 34 are required to take once the compensation advisor (CA) notifies the employee that the rehabilitation program has been actioned in the Phoenix pay system. Please follow these steps to ensure timely and accurate payment to the employee.

Note: The timesheet entries in Phoenix Employee Self Service must include both the hours worked and the hours taken with paid leave, using the same Time and Labour code: HAB (Rehab Period Salary).

For questions about the rehabilitation program, Section 34 managers and employees should reference the Phoenix Support Guide for employees [PDF-277KB] (accessible only on the National Defence network).

If you have any questions, call HR Connect RH (accessible only on the National Defence network) at 1-833-747-6363.
