Managers: New course code for “Introduction to Organization and Classification” training!

May 10, 2022 -  Defence Stories

The Introduction to Organization and Classification training course code has changed from P930 to COR133! This change comes with the switch to the Canada School of Public Service’s (CSPS) new learning platform. If you have already taken the P930 course, you do not have to retake the COR133 course.

According to Treasury Board Secretariat, managers and executives down to the L5 level must complete the Introduction to Organization and Classification (COR133) course to authorize organizational charts, approve job descriptions, and/or authorize classification action requests.

The course is offered through the CSPS’s new platform and offers learners basic concepts related to:

  • Understanding the impact of classification decisions
  • Organizational structure changes and job descriptions
  • Classification action requests
  • The roles and responsibilities of managers, employees, and classification officers

Visit HR-Civ’s classification tools and resources website (accessible only on the National Defence network) for more information. Learn more about the School’s new learning platform, by visiting their website (accessible only on the National Defence network).
