Decommissioning of Canada Post Epost Service

March 25, 2022 - Defence Stories

Pay and Benefits

Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) would like to provide an update on the discontinuing of epost services by December 2022. Epost users will continue to receive their pay stubs and tax slips on the Canada Post epost webpage and on the Canada Post epost mobile application until October 2022.

It is important to note that employees who are planning to take a Leave Without Pay (LWOP) or that are leaving the Public Service will not be able to create an epost account as of June 2022.

PSPC has identified MyGCPay as the replacement solution for the Canada Post epost service in order for public servants to access their pay and tax information when not connected to the GC network. Updates will be provided when available.

To prepare for the discontinuation of epost services, registered users are encouraged to download their tax slips and pay stubs onto their personal devices prior to December 2022. After December 2022, access to tax slips and pay stubs will not be available.

Although epost is winding down, former employees can still sign in to access and view their mail. For more information, read the list of frequently asked questions regarding epost.
